The Agricultural Mechanics Competition consists of a Jr. and/or Sr. team that includes several aspects. These aspects are always the same each year save for one. One aspect that never changes is ID. This part of the competition consists of 25 objects laid out around a table that one must ID. Another aspect is finding ENR cubic yards of concrete pad or find the size of a pump for a pond. The next aspect of the competition is stick welding with 7018 3/32 electrodes. The last part of the competition is changed every year. The competition is done by all four participants who compete in each part in a different order with each score graded individually and averaged for the team ranking.
